The Knots Prayer

Max Associate Cory Roy sends us this excellent prayer:

The Knots Prayer

Dear God:
Please untie the knots
that are in my mind,
my heart and my life.

Remove the have nots,
the can nots and the do nots
that I have in my mind.

Erase the will nots,
may nots,
might nots that may find
a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots,
would nots and
should nots that obstruct my life.

And most of all,
Dear God:
I ask that you remove from my mind,
my heart and my life all of the am nots
that I have allowed to hold me back,
especially the thought
that I am not good enough.

Amen

    This is an excellent prayer! For too long most religions prey on making us feel “less than,” yet we are not! We are all God/Goddess, spirit or whatever you may call it, in action and the only way “it” can act is through us.

    We are not less than — we are equal to Spirit, and together we can accomplish many things, but only when we stop feeling “less than.”

    Thank you for posting this wonderful truthful prayer!

    Amen Cory! We are fearfully and wonderfully made. If He is for us, who can be against us? We can do all things through Christ who strengthns us! We are only limited by our self talk and doubts.

    I could have stayed up all night and not come up with that!
